When we think of affiliate marketing, we envisage companies sending us cheques and payments due to successful sales that we've directed them. Indeed, this is essentially what wealthy marketing is, but how do we become a wealthy affiliate, and really drive our sales?

The thing that separates the casual blogger, the full time internet marketer, is, in my opinion, how well the later can put together a good affiliate campaign marketing a product. This is done by conducting the necessary market research, understanding the niche that you're marketing, and obviously, most importantly of all, finding a product that you can be an affiliate for and delivering that product to your target audience.

A lot of people however think that this process is a lot more difficult than what it really is. No one for a moment is doubting that finding a profitable niche is like striking gold, however if you have the right tools and equipment, and know where to look, striking gold becomes more realistic and possible. With affiliate marketing, the same thing is true, if you have a good product, and you know your target audience, the real challenge simply lies in connecting the two together.

Let's say for example you want to become a wealthy affiliate, so you review a number of different products and offer comparisons between each product, perhaps recommending one over the others. Why would anyone want to go with the product you recommend over the other products? Is it simply because it costs more, and thus you get a higher commission? If that's the only incentive for the consume, then odds are they're going to be looking for products elsewhere! You need to think in the mind of the consumer, what do they want, why would they buy the product you're recommending?

Once you can answer questions like this, this form of marketing starts to make sense, and with time and practice you can become a wealthy affiliate. Review one or two articles, and you won't get far, review several hundred however and you may be viewed as an authority within your niche. If you can understand what the target audience within your niche wants, and you can fulfil their desires, then you've struck gold, as the saying goes. That's all there is to it.

One of the biggest things preventing people from becoming a wealthy affiliate is procrastination. Don't sit back all the time thinking of how many things you'd like to do, do them! There's no use pondering things that need to be done. Good luck.

Web Prosperity Doing Online Surveys Just Wont Cut It

A lot of people have jumped on the bandwagon whereby they believe that online surveys may somehow be a lucrative source of income.

Whilst making money online is of course a dream for many people, getting paid a few cents per hour just won't cut it, at least not for most people in first world countries. You see, the problem with doing online surveys to make money is that the companies that run these surveys are the ones making all the money, not the people doing them.

Surveys have always posed questions to people and attempted to gather information from a large audience. Like with anything that has to do with a mass effect, the amount of money each person gets is of course going to be minimal. You wouldn't really expect ten thousand or so people who do a survey to get paid more than a dollar, or else the survey becomes too expensive for the company to complete.

One of the main points of interest with doing an online survey is that they are more often than not, incredibly lengthy. The reason for this is because the companies that run the surveys want to get the most bang for their buck as the saying goes. They're not going to be content just asking you a few questions and hoping that that will be all they require, indeed the more questions you answer, the great edge they can get on the statistics.

Now there are even those surveys out there who don't really care about the questions you ask at all, and instead only want you to buy a product at the end of the survey by giving you a 50% discount or something similar. This will make the average consumer believe they're getting a bargain by buying the product, and thus they'll be more likely to do business with the survey company or one of its partners.

The trick is to always be vigilant so that you don't end up paying more money than you have to when completing online surveys to make money online. As tempting as it may seem, you should try to refrain from the discounts and so called free offers available in these surveys as if you're not careful, you may actually see yourself spending more money online as opposed to saving it. In the long term, this could of course mean you're out of pocket more than what you began with.

The author, John Hubert, created a page explaining all the reasons on why it's recommended that you don't do online surveys. The site he runs teaches people strategies to Make Online Money.
